Any Couch to 5kers out there.....I miss Lee!

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone is doing the couch to 5k and which week are you on???

I need some motivation to stay on this program; I miss Lee posts cause she knew how to keep us motivated and give us a swift kick when needed. My knees are screaming, "not again woman" and I'm about ready to say...."OK".
When nothing else could help................LOVE lifted me!!!!

I'm still with you talisha.  This week I will be repeating week 3 for 2 reasons.  1) I only did it twice last week because of the holiday.  2) those two 3min runs are killing me lol.  The first time I did it, I almost vomited after the first 3 mins. and the last one I couldn't even finish.  On the second run I was proud of myself for completing but it know that I'm not ready to advance to week 4. 

What week are you?

Actually I'm starting week 2 of the 8K program.  Keep going...my knees screamed at me but your body does get used to it and lets you progress.  Just make sure that you listen and dont push to the point you hurt yourself.  I know for me I can only run 2 times a week, 3 is pushing it.

I miss Lee too.  She got me interested but I cannot run to save my life.  So I use the program on my bike.  When it tells me to run, I sprint on my bike instead.  I am still on week 2.  But I am doing it 4 or 5 times a week. 

Don't listen to the knees... they are the devil and plotting against you girl.  Do your thang...

Hang in there! Remember how Lee would post about pushing through her pain, boredom, or exhaustion? Hopefully that will help motivate you.

I completed couch 25K 2 weeks ago and plan to start couch to 8k on Monday. For now, I have been running intervals everyday.

You can do it. Keep pushing and think about the benefits you are seeing along the way!
